Abdalnasser Zayed, MD

Dr. Zayed is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint arthroplasty of the hip, knee, and shoulder, arthroscopic surgery, and sports medicine.

Dr. Zayed earned his undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver with a bachelor’s in Biochemistry where he earned multiple honors including the International Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship. After a year of research at the British Columbia Cancer Agency, he attended medical school at McGill University in Montreal where he earned the Dean’s Honor List. After graduation, he moved to Ontario to complete orthopedic surgery residency at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. He then completed a spine fellowship at the University of Manitoba followed by a fellowship in adult reconstruction surgery at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.  

Dr. Zayed is currently an active Fellow of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (FAAOS).
